What You’ll Be Forging:

Lead the Crew: Manage and motivate a team of 8 direct and 200 across a 3 shift operation
Boost Productivity: Keep the operation productive and safe, working closely with other managers and supervisors.
Set High Standards: Maintain and exceed production goals for efficiency, material waste, and quality.
Cut Costs, Not Corners: Drive cost and operational improvements to produce top-quality products at the best prices.
Plan for Success: Develop and roll out the Capital Plan to keep up with demand.
Engage and Inspire: Create a culture of engagement and set a strategic direction for your team.
Safety First: Lead health, safety, and environmental processes for the entire facility.
Always Improving: Push continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma, and similar principles.

What We're Looking For:

Educational Background: BA/BS in Operations Management, Business Management, or equivalent of 7+ years of operational leadership experience.
Experience: 7+ years in a metal manufacturing, ideally in machining, welding, stamping, casting or similar fields.
Proven Track Record: Success in understanding yields, managing labor, and driving efficiencies; experience with tracking systems is a plus.
Flexibility: Thrive in a fast-paced environment using lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
