This full time, permanent Commercial Building Automation Programmer opportunity is at a growing, commercial HVAC system designer, builder, and servicer located just northeast of Madison. The work schedule can be flexible. The duties and responsibilities include the following:
  • Reading in interpreting engineering drawings
  • Creating an operations sequence
  • Programming, building and installing automation systems
  • Traveling to client sites (typically not overnight) to commission and start up
  • Integrating to third party devices within a building automation system
  • Collaborating with the team on a weekly basis
  • Troubleshooting
  • Providing remote assistance to the customer
The successful candidate must have a background that includes the following:
  • Two or more years of building automation systems or two years of installing automation systems
  • One or more years of experience with Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning
  • Possess the ability to travel to client sites (typically not overnight)
  • A solid work history
  • A US citizen or possess a green card
  • A residence within 45 minutes
