Salary: $85K – $95K annually, plus bonus potential
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 50 employees across two robotic paint lines and one manual paint area, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards in automotive painting.
- Collaborate with fellow managers to optimize productivity and maintain a positive work environment within the automotive manufacturing setting.
- Monitor production metrics and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce waste in both robotic and manual automotive paint processes.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining the highest product quality standards in automotive manufacturing.
- Develop and execute the Capital Plan to ensure automotive paint production capacity meets demand.
- Foster a culture of engagement and provide strategic direction for the team within the automotive manufacturing context.
- Oversee health, safety, and environmental processes for the facility, with a focus on automotive manufacturing standards.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts, utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma, and similar methodologies tailored to the automotive industry.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent experience in automotive paint production leadership (4+ years).
- 3-7+ years of experience in industrial environments, preferably within automotive manufacturing with a focus on both robotic and manual painting or powder coating.
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in driving efficiency improvements and utilizing tracking systems within automotive manufacturing contexts.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and embrace lean manufacturing principles tailored to automotive production.
