Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced instructors to support ongoing asbestos, lead, mold, and hazardous materials training programs across New York State and occasionally in other locations. Duties include:

  • Deliver approved training curriculum in training facilities and on-site at client locations.
  • Provide instruction on asbestos abatement, inspection, monitoring, building management, lead, mold, environmental clean-up, and property renovation.
  • Engage and educate professionals on industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in course development and updates as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with NYSDOH and EPA training requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of documented experience as an asbestos abatement supervisor.
  • Experience in asbestos, lead, mold, hazardous materials, or environmental remediation.
  • Knowledge of NYSDOH and EPA requirements for training instructors.
  • Prior agency approval and teaching experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
