Job description:
This role focuses on defending insurance carriers and employers in workers' compensation matters under Chapter 440 of the Florida Statutes. The firm values attorneys who can handle virtual litigation and appeals and those who bring in new client cases. Junior attorneys benefit from mentorship opportunities, while more experienced attorneys can leverage the firms existing relationships for professional growth.
You will be expeted to attend quarterly and monthly networking and social events to meet and socialize with insurance contacts and employers.
Marketing is 100% paid for by employer.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of workers' compensation defense experience
- Strong knowledge of Florida Chapter 440 ("Red Book")
- Litigation experience, including mediation and depositions
- Ability to work independently in a virtual and hybrid legal environment
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
- Business development skills or a sales-minded approach is preferred
- Technologically adept and able to leverage digital tools in legal practice (TEAMS)
