RESPONSIBILITIES:The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of real estate matters, including:
Acquisitions and Dispositions:
Handling all aspects of real estate acquisitions and dispositions, including due diligence, contract negotiation, and closing.Real Estate Finance: Representing borrowers in real estate financing transactions, including drafting and negotiating loan documents and coordinating with lenders and other parties.Leasing: Negotiating and drafting commercial leases for a variety of property types, including retail, office, and industrial.Development: Assisting clients with real estate development projects, including land use and zoning issues, construction contracts, and environmental compliance.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:Experience: 4-6 years of experience in real estate law, preferably at a large law firm.Bar Admission: Must be admitted to practice law in the state of Illinois.Skills: Excellent writing, legal research, and analytical skills. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Education: Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.Academic Background: Strong academic credentials.
