Job description:
Key Responsibilities:- Litigation Excellence: Counsel and defend employers in single-plaintiff employment cases and complex class/collective actions, including wage and hour disputes and unfair employment practices.
- Strategic Advisory: Provide expert advisory services on a wide range of employment matters, including discipline, discrimination, ADA/FMLA compliance, and wage and hour issues.
- Comprehensive Case Management: Manage all phases of litigation, from depositions and discovery to motion practice and trial preparation.
- Legal Drafting Mastery: Draft sophisticated legal documents, including class/collective certification briefs, employment agreements, and employee handbooks.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:- Six (6+) years of proven experience in Employment and Labor Law.
- Demonstrated expertise in both litigation and client counseling.
- Exceptional legal research, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and client engagements.
- Defense against class actions and mass tort claims against employers
- Federal clerkship is highly preferred
- Experience within a Big Law firm setting is strongly preferred
