Business Development Manager


Job description:

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales and lead generation efforts within the Data Center Sector on the East Coast. The ideal candidate will have experience selling power solutions, equipment rentals, and HVAC solutions for construction and data center builds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities within the Data Center & Construction industry.
  • Execute full-cycle sales, including cold calling, lead generation, solution-based sales, account management, and closing deals.
  • Sell equipment rentals and services, including power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC systems, and oil-free air compressors.
  • Develop and execute an annual territory sales plan to meet revenue targets.
  • Maintain a CRM database (Salesforce) to track sales contacts, meetings, proposals, and closed deals.
  • Work cross-functionally with Operations, Logistics, and Fleet teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications:

Must-Haves:

  • Full-cycle sales experience in B2B sales.
  • Expertise in lead generation, business development, and solution-based sales.
  • Knowledge of construction and data center builds.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven success in developing new accounts and closing high-value deals in a corporate sales environment.
  • Able to work remote with 35% travel for client meetings.
