- New product design and development
- Ability to lead a project from inception through production
- Design new products (end items and components) in accordance with project plans and schedule
- Conceptualize and design electronics for pressure sensor mechanisms, using oil-filled pressure buttons and processing signal data to
customer required outputs
- Analyze sensor performance parameters like pressure accuracy, sensitivity, response time and power consumption.
- Design and develop electrical circuits and systems for pressure level sensors.
- Understand and design to customer requirements regarding communication and power requirements.
- Design test protocols and standards for validation and production
- Choose appropriate components based on requirements such as pressure ranges, temperature conditions, compatibility with fluids, and
desired durability.
- Choose materials and components aligned with current Rochester products and strategies.
- Build and test prototype pressure sensors in laboratory environments to validate design concepts and performance characteristics.
