Job Description
- Assist in designing and analyzing solar racking structures, including ground mounts and carports.
- Prepare drawings and specifications for structural projects, considering materials, environmental conditions, and design requirements.
- Support stability assessments to ensure structures withstand wind, seismic activity, and snow loads.
- Collaborate with engineers and drafters to develop safe and efficient structural designs.
- Conduct on-site testing for preliminary soil capacity and assist in inspecting existing structures to identify issues or recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam is preferred.
- On track to pass the Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with structural analysis software such as RISA 3D, STAAD Pro, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Revu Bluebeam is a plus.
