Engineering & Maintenance Technician I Hands-On Role with Career Growth Potential
What Youll Do:
- Lead corrective and preventive maintenance on production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime
- Manage spare parts inventory and contribute to ongoing efficiency improvements
- Diagnose issues, troubleshoot PLC code, and handle repairs to sustain and enhance equipment performance
- Support the design, testing, and installation of custom automation, working closely with internal teams and external vendors
Qualifications:
What You Bring:
- Associates degree in Electro-Mechanical, Controls, or Manufacturing Technology, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in automated manufacturing maintenance, with hands-on expertise in mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems, including PLCs and robotics (Allen-Bradley/RSLogix experience preferred)
- Practical machine-shop skills are a plus, with experience in machining or fabrication
- Proficiency in reading technical schematics and a solid understanding of safety protocols like Lockout/Tagout
