Job description:
- Lead and manage capital and special projects, including facility improvements, new construction, and site infrastructure (drainage, grading, paving, etc.).
- Provide structural design and analysis, seismic analysis, and hydraulic engineering, ensuring adherence to relevant codes and best practices in building construction.
- Design sanitary components for building infrastructure, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Oversee the design, installation, and modification of processing and packaging lines, and make necessary adjustments to ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Lead environmental compliance initiatives, focusing on wastewater management and OSHA PSM / EPA RMP for ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines and objectives are met efficiently.
- Conduct site planning and surveying to support new projects and facility expansions.
- Support the Director of Engineering in other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's of Science: Civil Engineering
- Minimum 3+ years of civil engineering experience, preferably with a focus on structural or environmental engineering.
- Professional engineering license are preferred.
- Strong understanding of engineering codes and good practices, particularly in building construction.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and timelines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
