Job Description

  • Draft wills, trusts, and related estate planning documents
  • Advise clients on federal estate and gift taxes
  • Handle estate administration and sophisticated tax planning for individuals and entities
  • Work with partnerships, corporations, and closely-held businesses for estate planning
  • Collaborate on charitable planning initiatives
  • Conduct research and present complex legal solutions in clear terms

Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in trusts and estates law
  • Admitted to the North Carolina State Bar
  • Proficiency in drafting estate planning documents (wills, trusts, etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of federal estate and gift tax laws
  • Experience with estate administration and tax planning for partnerships and corporations is preferred
  • Strong research, writing, and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
