Job Summary

The Transplant Cellular Therapy Clinical Pharmacy Specialist is responsible for the provision of comprehensive clinical pharmacy services for the TCT clinic. This individual serves as a resource for the BMT/Cellular Therapy, the interdisciplinary team, and other pharmacists. Duties will include the coordination, education, and medication management of anti-neoplastic and immunomodulating medications, with oversight of organization-wide collaboration on quality projects. Participation on multi-disciplinary rounds including pharmacokinetic and therapeutic consultation will be performed.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelors Degree (BS Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (PharmD). ASHP residency preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Looking for a Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) Completed a residency in this area and has a few years of RECENT (WITHIN THE LAST YEAR) Pharmacist in an acute hospital setting * MUST HAVE ONCOLOGY EXPERIENCE
  • Prior experience working within a Transplant & Cellular Therapy (TCT) / Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) / Blood and Marrow transplant program.
  • Willing to consider candidates without their BCOP but they must be open to obtaining it when theyre eligible to do so
  • Must have FL Pharmacy License or it must be in process with an ETA as to when they will receive it
