Job description:

The location of the office is in Alpharetta, GA.

They seek someone who understands working in an IT organization and the needs of employees in an IT services company.

  • How many employees, and their level? Directors, etc.?Currently 12 in the country. 2 Directors and 1 AVP. Rest consultants and PMs.
  • What support do they have. An admin?No admin currently.
  • Are there any company policies filtering down from India?The goal is to try and have a single handbook with policies that are universal but I believe they know there has to be some county specific exceptions.
  • How many open requisitions, and what roles?)There is a need for a Finance person as well that is currently posted on LinkedIn. Otherwise, we are always looking for functional BRIM consultants along with developers.
  • How many employees are in the North America and South America?-- Everyone is in NA. SA could potentially have ~50 people shortly if a deal gets finalized.
  • Who is doing payroll and what service provider are they using, Paychex, ADP? For both South America and North America?We are currently using an outfit called WorldpayrollHR but have been speaking with ADP.

How much interaction will be with India? This role would be the lead and give guidance to HR in India as to how things should be setup and managed.

  • What HRIS system are they working on?The current system is called Keka.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR professional to oversee and manage our HR operations in the USA. This role involves being a key HR business partner, managing a broad range of HR functions, and ensuring the effective implementation of HR strategies that align with our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Operations Management: Oversee the HR operations for the Americas (North and South America), ensuring compliance with local regulations and alignment with company policies.
  • Strategic HR Partnership: Act as a strategic partner to business and our people providing coaching on multi-discipline HR policies and processes.
  • Talent Management: Implement and manage talent solutions including performance management, career development, succession planning, and training.
  • People-First Approach: Demonstrated ability to implement HR initiatives with a focus on employee experience
  • Organizational Culture: Strengthen culture by driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organizational pride.
  • Talent Development & Recruitment: Oversee recruitment strategies, manage talent development initiatives, and support managers with people-related matters.
  • Employee Relations: Support managers in building strong teams, fostering a positive social climate, and managing employee relationships.
  • Payroll & Compensation: Supervise payroll processes, wage management, and other personnel-related payments.

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years in HR roles within fast-paced international environments.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven experience in working with cross-functional teams and senior management.
  • Recruitment & Scaling: Experience in scaling teams and driving local recruitment efforts.
  • Legal Knowledge: Good knowledge of US Labor Law; knowledge of labor laws of LatAm countries ie. Argentina, Brazil, and Chile are a plus.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential; Spanish and Portuguese is a plus.
  • Change Management: Experience in leading change and implementing new HR initiatives.
  • Data & Analytics: Proficiency in working with HR data and analytics.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Stakeholder Management: Effective at managing relationships with various stakeholders.
