Job Summary
The Director maintains 24-hour responsibility for the direction, supervision, coordination, and evaluation of activities and performances in the professional practice of the Cardiovascular [CV] staff in the following depts: Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Echo Lab, Cardiac Pre/Post Procedure Dept.
Qualifications:
Job Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited university required
- Masters degree in Nursing, Business, or Healthcare Management preferred
- 2+ years experience in cardiovascular setting required
- 1+ years experience in management required
- Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Directors employed prior to 1.1.2023: Current license and certification meet requirements.
- Registered Nurse or Licensed Technologist with one of the following credentials: RN, RCIS, RT(R) required
- BLS Certification as per St. Davids Healthcare Policy required
- ACLS certification as per St. Davids Healthcare Policy within 90 days of hire date
