Associate Attorney - Business Law


Job description:

Note: This is a hybrid or remote position (Dallas, TX), with associates required to make at least two court appearances per month initially, with opportunities to increase as needed, covering locations between Dallas and Houston. The base salary is $125,000 to $170,000, depending on experience. With bonuses, the total target income would be approximately double the base salary.

Job Description:

  • Support general business law docket, including corporate governance, commercial transactions, and contract disputes.
  • Manage cases from initiation to resolution, ensuring thorough handling of all legal matters.
  • Represent clients in court and during negotiations related to business law issues.
  • Make at least two court appearances per month, with potential to increase based on case load.
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to build and maintain professional relationships.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas with a current Texas Bar license.
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent business law experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent litigation experience.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance, commercial transactions, and contract law.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle a full docket and manage cases independently.
