Systems Integration Engineer – SCADA
Our client is a leading provider of innovative industrial automation solutions.
Our client is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer – SCADA to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing plant floor communication systems, facilitating data acquisition across manufacturing facilities. Your primary focus will be on HMI and SCADA packages.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Assist project managers from definition to installation.
- Create project plans and execute them effectively.
- Troubleshoot and provide support for HMI or SCADA systems.
- Contribute to the development of Business Intelligence systems.
- Participate in after-hours and on-call duties periodically.
Requirements:
Education: Some college in Computer Science, Software Engineer, or similar. Associates or BA/BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Skills:
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Familiarity with networking technologies and relational databases.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, Java, etc.
- Experience with SCADA/HMI Applications (e.g., Wonderware, Ignition, FactoryTalk).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, advanced knowledge of programming environments and SCADA/HMI Applications preferred.
- Occasional travel required (local, national, international).
- Occasional remote work may be available.
- Flexibility to work outside of typical hours and participate in on-call duties.
