Our client is a single-family High Wealth Family office. They provide integrated financial and
investment services for 18 households in the second through fifth generations of the family. They also have numerous outside clients for whom they provide consulting, tax, and accounting services.
The core focus of this role is tax compliance and planning, with an emphasis on the technology systems of the family office. This position will have the responsibility to learn our current technology systems and continually develop and improve them across our tax, accounting, and financial/investment reporting services. This position reports directly to the treasurer of the family office but will work closely with all staff.
The position is exempt and includes full company-paid medical benefits, vision benefits, dental benefits, a generous

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax compliance and planning
• Ability to process and automate data
• Strong communication skills
• Works well in a team environment
• Desire to grow and expand skill set
• Critical thinking and analytical problem solving abilities
Responsibilities:
• Preparation and/or review of complex tax returns for individuals, trusts, and other entities
• Manage and maintain tax basis schedules
• Analyze and respond to IRS and state tax notices
• Calculate annual tax distributions for family limited partnerships
• Cross-train with investment data analyst to understand and improve investment reporting processes
• Assist in the preparation and automation of various schedules for our Board of Directors and client meetings
• Interface directly with family members and clients to provide them with a high level of service
• Assist in onboarding of new tax and accounting clients

• Grow expertise in tax technology and software, with a focus on automation
• Become knowledgeable and stay current with other family office industry technology and software
• Utilize Microsoft Copilot and stay current with generative AI best practices
