This employee-oriented, custom automation engineering design company is hiring a full time, permanent Robotic Automation Programmer Technician. The company does a lot of machine building from scratch but is also making standard products that are sold around the world. The engineering group consists of six engineers so an engineer can have a big impact. The company promotes from within.
 
The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:
  • Interpreting and understanding engineering drawings and documents
  • Troubleshooting robotic and automation equipment
  • Programming robotic automation equipment and systems
  • Programming and integrating vision systems
  • Interpreting and understanding engineering drawings and documents
  • Documenting as needed
  • Participating in troubleshooting and testing
  • Overseeing robotic equipment assemblers
  • Traveling up to 20%
 
The background of the successful candidate must include the following to be considered:
  • An engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering or related
  • Three or more years of robotic automation programming experience
  • Two or more years of robotic automation troubleshooting 
  • Two or more years of robotic automation equipment base and module programming 
  • Two or more years of vision system programming and integration
  • Two or more years of initial setup and integration experience with robotic automated equipment
  • Two or more years of Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs
  • Two or more years of experience utilizing Fronius or SKS to integrate weld equipment 
  • Experience interpreting and understanding engineering drawings and documents
  • Possess the ability to travel 20%
  • Possess a solid work history
  • Being a US citizen or green card holder
  • Having a residence within a 45 minute drive
