Responsible for managing and directing the implementation of safety programs including OSHA compliance, employee engagement, workers compensation program administration and safety training for a (400) employee production plant. Directly supervises a staff of (3) Safety and Health Professionals.
Requirement: Proven success in leading safety culture change in a manufacturing company with the ability to give examples of injury reduction through changing behavior, engagement, accountability and the ability to inspire change.
Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in safety, environmental or technical field with at least 5 years of plant safety experience. People management (supervisory) skills required as well.
Experience with EHS Management systems such as ISO and OSHAS; manage workers compensation program; develop annual risk reduction plan; manage contractor safety program; develop and deliver safety and health training programs.
