Responsibilities

  • Service, Test and Inspection, Programming and Installation of low voltage Fire Alarm Systems
  • Acquire and maintain all required local licensure, (CSA Card is required)
  • Perform on-site emergency troubleshooting; programming and repair of FA systems
  • Identification of code and non-conformance issues at customer sites
  • Installation and commissioning of new FA systems working with our team and electrical installers
  • Conduct work in a safe manner utilizing all required PPE, safe work practices, etc
  • Travel within the states of Colorado and Wyoming to work job sites as necessary
  • Work may include off hours/shift/weekend work as required
  • Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment
  • Ability to read and understand construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications used in installation activities

Qualifications

  • Must be willing to become/be a member of the IBEW Local Union 68
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience is required
  • Minimum NICET Level II in Fire Alarm Systems
  • Must hold or be able to obtain a valid Denver Fire Alarm Systems Installer license (CSA Card)
  • At least 18 years old
  • High school diploma OR GED required
  • Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment, including working outdoors, hot/cold weather, etc

Benefits

  • Wages subject to the IBEW Local 68 Sound and Communications Agreement
  • Base Wage: $32.00 - $45.00
