Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join a dynamic healthcare team in Spokane, Washington. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients recover from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries, improve their mobility, manage pain, and regain functionality. Your expertise in assessing patients' conditions, developing personalized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic exercises will contribute significantly to enhancing patients' quality of life and achieving their rehabilitation goals.
Under the direction of the Rehabilitation Services Manager, the PT (Physical Therapy) Clinician is responsible for planning and administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for patients to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities, medical histories, and functional limitations.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patients' needs and goals, incorporating evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions.
- Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to alleviate pain, improve mobility, restore function, and prevent disability.
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for performing exercises and activities of daily living, as well as strategies for managing pain and preventing injuries.
- Monitor patients' progress regularly, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.
- Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
- Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

- Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Washington.
- National BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- Strong clinical skills in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a diverse range of musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Demonstrated proficiency in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and monitoring patients' progress effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and providing high-quality, patient-centered care with compassion and empathy.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other relevant healthcare technologies.
