What they are looking for:
•Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and possess ARRT or registered by American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists and possess ARMRIT.
•State of Ohio licensure.
•CPR certification required.
Hours and compensation potential:
• Position is for full time or part time, Mon-Fri 7am-5:30pm, 10hr shifts and every 4th weekend
• Range is between $27hr-$39hr depending on experience and a full benefit package.
What you will be doing:
•The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic procedures in MRI. The technologist is responsible for all functions necessary to complete the procedures, such as, assessing patient for age and condition specific care, identifying and performing the appropriate exam, and documenting all appropriate actions in a timely manner.
•Communication and collaboration with all other healthcare team members is paramount.
•An MRI Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures as assigned. All actions shall be performed in adherence to hospital policy, federal and state regulations, and the highest professional practice standards.
•Communication with DI team members and other department staff members to promote an environment of cooperation and coordination which will result in the best patient outcomes possible.
•Correct documentation of all images, work requests, and associated patient files.
•Participates in staff meetings, educational programs, committees, QA/QC activities, and mandatory in-services.
