Senior Field Service - Automation - Security Systems

Purpose of the Position:

Join a team dedicated to providing top-tier installation, technical service, repair, and maintenance for mechanical and electromechanical access control, CCTV, surveillance, intrusion detection systems, and other security devices at client locations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

- Travel to client sites to conduct testing, configuration, installation, and preventative maintenance on commercial and detention-grade locks, access control systems, intercommunications, and video surveillance systems.

- Expect 50% overnight travel with an average of 2-3 overnight stays per week. Most weekends will be spent at home.

- Participate in periodic week-long on-call rotations to respond to emergency calls as needed.

- Perform installation, servicing, and troubleshooting of low voltage and electromechanical systems.

- Track time and report on work performed, completing necessary forms as applicable.

Are You Qualified or Have the Experience?

- Mechanical inclination and ability to work independently with limited supervision.

- Physical ability to climb ladders, work at significant heights, and lift objects weighing over 50 lbs.

- Willingness to travel overnight to remote locations.

- Ability to pass standard background checks required by clients.

- Eagerness to learn, retain, and apply new information while collaborating effectively in teams.

- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and wiring diagrams.

- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

- Strong electronics, circuits, and low voltage systems knowledge.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other online services.

- Interest and aptitude in software configuration and programming, particularly related to surveillance and access control systems.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

These Qualifications Would be Good to Have:

- Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience in automation controls, HMI/SCADA, electronics, mechanical, or electrical engineering.

- Fluent in PLC/Ladder Logic and Aveva programming.

- Experience in providing services in the government and corrections marketplace.
