As a result, they are seeking a talented and experienced Oracle Finance Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join their growing team.

About the role:

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Oracle Finance Functional SME to play a key role in the organization. You will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on all aspects of Oracle Finance, including implementation, configuration, customization, and ongoing support. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining documentation, training materials, and best practices for the Oracle Finance system.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying, writing and managing business requirements. Contributing to the functional and technical design, prototyping, and process design stages of implementations (including scenario design, flow mapping). Supporting configurations, customization, reports and interfaces, testing and user training.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials for Oracle Finance.
  • Provide ongoing support to users of the Oracle Finance system.
  • Identify and implement best practices for Oracle Finance.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest Oracle Finance releases and updates.
  • Partner with other departments to ensure the smooth integration of Oracle Finance with other enterprise systems.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new financial processes and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Oracle Finance.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions on Oracle Finance to users.
  • Prepare and present reports and analysis on the performance of the Oracle Finance system.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Oracle Finance SME.
  • Proven experience with multiple Oracle ERP implementations, including Oracle Cloud Applications.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
  • Experience with leading and mentoring team members.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification in Oracle Financials is a plus.
  • Must have experience in 2 or more of the modules (GL, AR, AP, FA, Cash Management, EBTax, Expense, Accounting Hub, AGIS)
  • Must have consulting experience
