Our client, one of the top 20 integrator/industrial automation companies in the world, is seeking a collaborative, adaptable Controls Technician to join their close-knit team near Spokane, Washington.
As a Control Technician, you will be required to support installed control systems, debug the shutdown situations, and remote support wherever possible. Dallas can be the central location to manage the nearby site locations. You will have to travel to sites to support breakdown situations and other support which can not be done remotely. They are looking for analytical and troubleshooting abilities for problem identification and implementing apt solutions.
To qualify for this opportunity with a recognized, global company, you will have:
- A strong ability to read electrical/Pneumatic drawings
- Control System design and commissioning support experience
- Experience with PLC/HMI/SCADA Software Development. Siemens/Allen Bradley preferred
- Experience with variable frequency drives, configuring parameters, debugging and motion control
- Interfacing 3rd party devices on Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, ASCII
- Awareness on Robot programming will be an added advantage
