  • A degree in Robotic Automation, Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering or related; five or more years of robotic automation exposure; five or more years of motion control programming; and five or more years of Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) experience are all required
  • Pay should range between $90,000 to $100,000 annually
  • Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder
  • No remote as this is an onsite position

This employee-oriented, commercial product manufacturer is hiring a full time, permanent Senior AutoCAD Electrical Panel Controls Technician. The employer views employees as their most important asset and heavily invests in training and growing employees. The company is growing and they are always bringing in new, state of the art robots for the continually expanding manufacturing facilities. Unlike many manufacturers, they build their own equipment for their manufacturing facilities. There are a lot of promotional opportunities to move up or to go into other areas of the company.
 
The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:
  • Owning and running several automation projects
  • Creating schematics with AutoCAD Electrical
  • Creating Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) code
  • Delegating and mentoring lower-level technicians
  • Wiring electrical panels
  • Overseeing the installs of machines
  • Troubleshooting machines
  • Commissioning new machines
 
The background of the successful candidate must include the following to be considered:
  • A degree in Robotic Automation, Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering or related
  • Five plus years of robotic automation exposure
  • Five plus years of motion control programming
  • Five plus years of Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) experience
  • One plus years of creating electrical schematics utilizing AutoCAD
  • Possess a solid work history
  • Being a US citizen or green card holder
  • Having a residence within a 45 minute drive
